Staff Today Inc. is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work at a facility in Portland ,* OR* . These are registry positions with our company Staff Today Inc.
Pay Rate: $23 / hour
Job Details:
- 9 hours as scheduled, 2 paid 15 minute rest periods (breaks), and a 1 hour unpaid meal period (lunch).
- 830a to 530p, 900a to 600p, or 1000a to 700p.
Responsibilities :
- Compound and dispense prescribed medication
- Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medication
- Provide patients with pertinent drug information
- Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
- Supervise and maintain records of all medications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- BLS/CPR
- Must have up to date certification in OR
