MTC is proud to operate the North Central Correctional Complex in Marion, Ohio where our staff are dedicated to improving lives and helping to reduce recidivism through education, healthcare, and other services.

We are looking for a full-time Phlebotomist to join our medical team.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare a schedule of patients that require lab work based on physician orders. Prepares medical chart for each encounter.
• Obtain results of performed lab test, ensures results are viewed by physician and then files reviewed results in the patient’s medical records.
• Maintain accurate documentation of each patient encounter.
• Perform basic laboratory tests after verification of competency.
• Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) after proper training but does not interpret results.

Position Requires: *High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) months related experience, current certification or registration as a phlebotomist in the state of Ohio. Must possess current CPR certification. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management. Must attain and maintain appropriate facility security clearance.
