Our licensed PTA must be able to administer physical therapy treatments under the physical therapists direction, but not limited to: giving massages, initiating traction, applying physical agents; utilizing moist heat/ice packs, ultrasound machines; electro-stimulation machines; directing treatments given by technicians and assistants.
Must be able to administer manual exercises and therapy by instructing, encouraging and assisting patients in performing physical activities such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities and in using assisting and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
Qualifications:
- Licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of Examiners' State of Nevada
