Advance Therapy Associates (ATA), a therapist owned private practice, employs PTs, OTs, SLPs, & other allied health professionals. Associates work for Advance Therapy in traditional outpatient locations, medical day centers, multi specialty clinics, and hospitals.
Candidates that apply must hold active Physical Therapy NJ License or be in process of licensure.
ATA works as an outpatient team treating post acute patients requiring long term services. Patients at this location specifically have non-neurodegenerative neurological diagnosis (i.e. TBI, ABI, CVA etc).
The candidate joins a robust team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, cognitive rehabilitation specialists, vocational therapists, recreational therapists, social workers, case managers, support staff, and administrative staff.
ATA is looking to further clinical, state and federal initiatives promoting independence for patients as well as coordinated interdisciplinary care.
Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluates patients to develop rehabilitative and habilitative treatment plans of care and protocols.
- Provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
- Determines physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
- Helps patient accomplish treatment plan by administering manual exercises, manual therapy, gait training, modalities, and using equipment as necessary.
- Evaluates and records patient’s progress, modifying treatment plans, and trying new treatments if required.
- Evaluates the use and fit of prosthetic and orthotic devices by observing, noting, and observing patient’s progress; and recommending adjustments and modifications.
- Documents patient care services by charting daily.
- Instructs patients in proper in-home exercises and therapies.
- Educates patients and other stakeholders updating progress.

Pay: From $72,000.00 per year
