Looking for an amazing Physical Therapist to join our clinic! Clinic near Capitola, California. Salary range $100,000.00 to $135,000.00 based on experience. New grads are encouraged to apply.

GENERAL SUMMARY: We are deeply involved in clinical research focused on developing the treatment solutions of tomorrow. Our rehabilitation programs for chronic pain sufferers set the standard in holistic approaches for managing chronic pain. Our commitment to excellence extends to our staff family. We provide extensive training opportunities in the latest pain management techniques, Electronic Medical Record software and sophisticated medical office management processes. We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to evaluate and treat patients in our clinics. Our team consists of physical therapists, PTAs, Cognitive Behavioral Therapists, and MDs. We use an educationally based treatment model to teach patients transferable skills for managing chronic pain conditions. The physical therapy population is primarily adult orthopedic and chronic pain patients.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Evaluation and treatment of individual patients. Combine patient education, hands on care and exercise instruction in comprehensive 60-minute visits. Patient load is approximately 7 individuals per day. Deliver pain neuroscience education to individual patients and groups. Opportunities to collaborate with the medical and psychology teams while co-treating patients.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: The ideal candidate will possess the following: California Physical Therapy License Strong orthopedic assessment skills Knowledge of pain neuroscience including the ability to educate patients with chronic pain conditions Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously. Working knowledge of myofascial release techniques and manual therapy skills is a plus. Experience with EMR documentation preferred but will train. Ability to establish rapport with patients, families, professionals, and co-workers. Able to work with patients and equipment using sound judgment. An attitude of excellence in providing quality patient care. We will provide training for new graduates.
