Job Summary:
Our Physical Therapists work to identify and recognize the needs of exceptional learners and are responsible to develop IEPs, set meeting schedules with parents and staff, coordinate with special education staff, and be responsive to students’ needs in order to implement plans and collaborate with classroom teachers to meet learning goals.

• Qualifications: *

Physical Therapy License by the state of Texas.
Master’s Degree, or equivalent, in Physical Therapy
CPR Certification

Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday (off on weekends)
Language: English or Spanish

Some of the Responsibilities include:
Evaluate students with motor and/or sensory disabilities in addition to planning and implementing interventions so that these students may access the educational setting in the least restrictive environment.
Design physical therapy programs that are consistent with the educational philosophy and goals of the school district.
Identify strengths and weaknesses of referred exceptional education students.
Prepare, implement, and evaluate a custom individualized annual educational plan for each referred student.
Participation on evaluations teams.
Provide parents with suggestions for home techniques.
Attend ARD/IEP meetings and review evaluations with parents.
