Therapists are responsible for the application of current knowledge, theory, evidence and sound clinical judgment in patient management. The therapist works closely with the patient, family and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized patient care. Therapists also serve as advocates and promoters of health, wellness, and fitness to all stakeholders. They serve as educators and mentors for therapy students, peers and other medical professionals. The therapist assists with department and program planning.

This PT position allows you to utilize evaluation and treatment skills with a variety of patients. Patient populations include pediatric patients, post-surgical orthopedics, acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, general physical therapy, and acute hospital patients. Experience with pediatric patients is preferred. Will to support additional training to develop skills in this area.

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of approved School of Physical Therapy.

License or certification
Licensure/Certification: Current Physical Therapy Licensure in the State of Minnesota. BLS Certification within 3 months of hire. An Iowa license will be required if working at Iowa facilities.
