Jump and Schout Therapy team is growing! We are currently seeking a Part-Time/Full – Time Physical Therapist/Assistant to join our team in Brea and/or Chino, Ca., location.
Jump and Schout Therapy is a multi-disciplinary facility providing specialist in Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. Diagnostic and therapy services are provided both individually and in small groups to children, adolescents and adults with a range of communication and physical conditions (i.e., autism, developmental delay, down syndrome, apraxia, hearing impairment, auditory processing, sensory integration, fine and visual motor).
Primary Responsibilities:

Assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions. Aid and direct patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, gait and functional training.
Educate patient and family on proper care plans.
Communicate with team members to ensure quality care is being provided.

• Bachelor/Master of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university and California State licensed Physical Therapist
• One year consulting experience working with infants/young children with developmental delays (preferred, but will consider recent college grads)
• Knowledgeable of evidence-based practices found to benefit children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), developmental delay, syndrome disorders.
• Familiar with the field of early intervention.
• Customer service orientated and professional.
• Demonstrate good judgment, decision-making, and communication skills with a variety of individuals and groups. Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Must relate well to children and their families.
• Very good working knowledge in all applicable computer programs (Microsoft Office).
• Valid CPR certification, TB, and professional liability.
• Ability to pass background/fingerprint clearance, health screenings and provide/obtain immunizations.
• Reliable transportation, proof of valid California driver's license, safe driving record, proper auto insurance and vehicle registration.
• Part-time positions available.
• Compensation dependent on experience and/or education.
