PIMS Client Support Specialist (#4834) Job at Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit

Full time position responsible for assisting clients from Local Education Agencies (LEA) / school entities and school vendors associated with LEA reporting. Position provides data/application support for statewide educational longitudinal data systems known as the Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS) and PA SecureID applications.
Hourly Wage: $20.26 to $23.08 non-exempt position following a 260 days per year, 12-month hybrid remote work schedule. Education and skills required include:
- An associate’s degree in computer science, computer applications, programming or related field of sturdy (preferred). Will consider high school diploma or equivalent general education diploma (GED) with minimum two (2) years’ experience working in a basic education environment or working with school technology or help desk support.
- Proficient with personal computers and browser-based applications. An understanding of computer programming is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with LEAS and vendors.
- Ability to maintain composure and positive demeanor when dealing with a stressful situation, project or issue.
