Description

Summary: The Pipeline Pigging Assistant is responsible for safe on-site pigging operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a customer, ensuring equipment performs within acceptable parameters. They will will under the supervision of the Pipeline Pigging Operations Manager and the District Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring of engine and compression performance

2. Scheduled maintenance and overhaul of equipment

3. Maintain engine run hour records, oil sampling and maintenance records

4. Insure environmental compliance in emission testing program

5. Control and minimize repair expenses through a strong preventative maintenance program

6. Maintain clean and safe working environment

7. Make any and all repairs as deemed reasonable and safe

8. Operate and maintain company vehicle/s and equipment at all times to ensure their personal safety along with the equipment they will operate

9. Comply with HS&E Policies and Safety Program

10. Other duties assigned by Manager and or Supervisor

Education, Professional Licensure and Certifications:

11. High School/GED

12. The Pigging Assistant must be able to obtain and maintain a commercial driver's license commensurate with his or her classification and DOT regulations

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand and fingers to feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms , and taste or smell. The Pigging Assistant frequently is required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk and hear. They must regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision, peripheral vision along with depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus

Working Environment

While performing the duties of the job, employees regularly work in outside weather conditions with flammable liquids present. The Pigging Assistant frequently works in areas exposed to fumes or airborne particles. They are exposed to various weather conditions. The are exposed to various types of chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
