SUMMARY:
Develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial reporting, analysis, planning and control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Maintain one or more of the following: accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end closing, other non-routine accounting items.
Ø Assist in preparation and review of monthly financial package.
Ø Responsible for assigned balance sheet and reconciliations.
Ø Coordinate with all levels of management the timely processing of information and provide feedback or analysis as needed.
Ø Makes journal entries as needed
Ø Assists in the preparation of financial data and reports required for forcasting and/or planning.
Ø Assist in the development of the budget, planning, and other financial requirements as needed.
Ø Works with external and internal auditors to provide needed information and analysis.
Ø Assures policies are being followed and recommends improvements.
Ø Participates in JSOX compliance/audit.
Ø Interact with regional personnel on payroll questions.
Ø Responsible for intercompany accounting for the region.
Ø Other duties may be assigned as required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to communicate in English, and analyze, and interpret journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of associates.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Thorough knowledge of Excel and understanding of basic accounting systems.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply basic reasoning skills. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret instructions in various forms and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
An undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with a minimum of three years’ work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Thorough knowledge of Excel and understanding of basic accounting systems is required. Experience with QAD and ADP is preferred.
CERTIFICATION/TRAINING REQUIRED
None; a CPA or CMA license is preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
