Plant Maintenance (Quarry)- Oak Ridge, TN Job at Rogers Group, Inc.
Rogers Group is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill a position as a Plant Maintenance Worker for our Quarry operation in Oak Ridge, TN . This individual will be responsible for performing fixed plant repairs, recommending plant improvements, diagnosing, and repairing mobile heavy equipment, and assisting with various production duties as needed.
Description:
The successful candidate for this role will have a strong emphasis on safety, be a self-starter and willing to learn new tasks, will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:
- Work at heights from a man lift
- Changing screen panels; Crusher & Screen maintenance, tracking belts
- Operate and Maintain service truck and all associated tools (greasing, oil changes, etc.)
- Perform maintenance tasks as required
- General fabrication and erection
- General inspection of crushing plant equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Have problem solving mindset, understanding how to repair and prevent or prolong
- Previous maintenance experience preferred but not necessary
- Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform basic plant repairs as needed
- Ability to read and comprehend equipment maintenance manuals
- Ability to operate a man lift, telehandler, skid steer
- Experience in welding, cutting Preferred
