What You Will Do

• You have experience in leadership, coordination, and motivation of a talented team of QA engineers in the pursuit of continuous improvement
• Able to lead transformational change in an organization from the QA perspective
• You have experience with advanced frameworks and are an advocate of test-driven development (TDD) and behavioral driven development (BDD)
• Have worked in regulated environments where speed and agility need to be balanced with quality and compliance
• Be a principal QA engineer in terms of "hands on" contribution and a driving force in our Back Office Platform for Caesars Sportsbook & Casino
• Delivery of high-quality automation to prove the functional and non-functional requirements are met with the solution
• Responsible for creating test approaches for the product development teams and collaborating with the team to ensure they are fulfilled
• Ensure QA is fully part of the CI/CD pipeline and promote the benefits of Test-Driven Development and automation first
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with applications and domains
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Build robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation both for front-end and API solutions
• Develop, execute, and maintain test automation frameworks for different test environments
• Participate in design and architecture discussions, escalate issues where needed
• Communicate effectively with external and internal teams
• Review and debug code
• Sign off on new features and functionality
• Enjoy exploratory testing

What You Will Need

• 10+ years of experience in a QA automation engineer or a SDET
• Javascript/NodeJS, Selenium WebDriver/Pytest
• API/RESTful service testing experience
• Ability to create automation test frameworks from scratch
• Strong hands on experience testing native devices such as Android, iOS
• AWS platform experience
• Linux/Unix
• Kubernetes/Docker
• Familiar with CI/CD processes in GitLab
• Experience with Jira or other PMT for Agile Management
• Mentor and leadership abilities for more junior team members
• Terraform (optional)

Aptitude in one or more of the following is a plus:

• A passion for sports, sports betting, online games, and/or casino games
• Experience working on or closely with DevOps teams
• Proficiency with non-functional testing
• Experience thinking about risk, creating test strategy, and validating the quality of testing plans & procedures
