The Plating Technician – Lab Analyst's primary responsibility will be in the Tribomet electroplating area, with time equally divided between Plating line maintenance functions and the supporting wet lab analysis.

Plating Technician – Lab Analyst

• Plans, organizes and conducts a variety of chemical and material tests and analysis in support of the Tribomet department
• Logs analysis results, maintains computer data base and associated records
• Issues required chemical additions to manufacturing; certifies, tracks and reports production-readiness of each process tank
• Originates, leads, conducts and reports out on continuous improvement projects for the plating department, with focus on quality, efficiency, productivity and cost
• Contributing member of engineering team on capital projects and qualifications related to start-up of new processes and products
• Other Duties Assigned

• Chemistry related AS, or a related technical field required
• Knowledge of standard laboratory practice is required
• Understanding of electroplating and associated analysis techniques desired
• Experience with electroplating technology, including bath chemistry, process monitoring, and coating test methods a plus
