SUMMARY:
As a Portfolio Analyst, you will work as a member of the Bank’s Portfolio Analyst Group and have responsibility for assisting in the monitoring of the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio. Primary duties will include conducting annual portfolio reviews, testing financial performance covenants, and actively assisting lending staff in obtaining customer financial information and administering the associated monitoring software. Other duties include spreading and analysis of financial statements, generation of activity reports for management review, and preparing necessary modifications or waivers.

LOCATION: This position is hybrid. The employee is split between remote and office work on a formalized schedule. Consideration for location will be One Bank Plaza, Wheeling, WV; Henderson Rd., Columbus, OH; Versailles Main, Versailles, KY; Sabraton, Morgantown, WV; Ellwood City, PA; and Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work under the supervision of the Portfolio Analyst Manager.

Collect Financial and other information necessary to review existing loans, and assist Bankers in contacting borrowers to obtain additional information.

Spread financial statements upon receipt.

Ability to perform annual reviews of term loans and construction loans in conjunction with Bankers and other individuals.

Test financial performance covenants and coordinate processing of necessary loan modifications or waivers.

Maintain integrity of date input into Bank reporting systems and generation of activity reports.

Establish relationships with lenders and administrative assistants to assist in managing the commercial loan portfolio.

Provide timely responses to questions from lending officers and other personnel.

Handle all matters in a professional and confidential manner.

Perform other duties as may be assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank’s policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Bachelor’s Degree required; Accounting and Finance major preferred or 2+ years Accounting or Finance experience preferred

Ability to interpret financial statements, perform cash flow and personal financial statement analysis, and determine borrower capacity to meet financial covenants preferred.

A minimum of two years of banking or lending administrative support experience preferred.
