RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for building and supporting Power BI reports.
COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Hard Skills
- Understanding of Microsoft Power BI desktop and service
- Hands-on experience in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects
- Experience in connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence
- Proficient in both Power BI languages - M and DAX
- Experience in developing user-friendly and insightful visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop
- Develop (create new and update existing), publish, schedule reports and dashboards
- Experience in designing, implementing, and executing test cases
- Assist business users with using published reports/dashboard and performing ad hoc data analysis

- Shares information and knowledge freely, offering support and cooperation
- Anticipates problems, resistance or likely objections and takes action to resolve them.
- Interacts well on teams and can also work independently
- Executes duties in a timely, efficient manner
- Ability to work effectively as part of a virtual team
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a closely related field.
- 4+ years development experience with Microsoft Power BI
- 1-2 years experience in writing SQL (or similar)
- Nice to have – experience with Azure DevOps
