Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has openings for Power Generation Systems Project Managers at our locations in Philadelphia, PA & Baltimore, MD. This individual will be able to work independently and as a team while also being a thoughtful planner and effective decision maker. The Project Manager position is project and product support focused to take on key project tasks for the sales department and offer field support guidance on product troubleshooting and planning.

The role is a project and product support focus for key project tasks for the sales department and field support guidance on product troubleshooting and planning. It is an important role that requires independent work, thoughtful planning and effective decision making. It will also demand collaboration and cooperation with many internal and external partners.

Key Job Role Overview and Objectives:

  • Facilitating and implementation of project and product support.
  • Provide excellent customer service interaction.
  • Field visits to customer locations and project sites.
  • Develop project documentation during all stages (hand-off, release, close-out).
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to keep projects on track.
  • Deliver a project to the customer that remains on budget and within timeline expectation.
  • Promptly address and resolve customer concerns.


Technical Knowledge:

o Review and interpret project design documents and scope of work, enhance product knowledge of mtu

Rolls-Royce and power equipment as necessary to fully understand total power solutions provided.

o Initiate, coordinate, procure and assemble technical submittal documents.

o Review OEM documents to understand repair plans and parts/component complexities.

o Review, develop, improve field repair scope of work for communication of field service procedures.

o Develop, modify, or procure technical drawings for onsite coordination of interconnects or conduit layouts.

o Learn and understand basic and advanced concepts of building electrical distribution systems and how to apply power generation equipment and related technical scope of work.

o Utilize AutoCAD as necessary to develop, improve, combine drawings and/or interconnects/block diagrams.

o Prepare activity reports to assist in capturing of data analytics and market trends.

Communication / Customer Interface

o Be the communication hub for internal/external partners to guide project to a successful turnover to the end-user from inception to close-out.

o Customer interfacing as necessary for job site meetings, deliveries.

o Coordinate and communicate on all project schedule alignment to meet customer and project expectations.

o Coordinate with sales administration team to process purchase orders and invoices accordingly.

o Lead the efforts to coordinate startup requests internally with the service team and communicate dates with internal/external partners.

Project financial awareness

o Monitor service hours on project verses budgeted time to reduce and / or eliminate cost discrepancies.

o Proactive measures to maintain gross profit levels from sales hand-off to project close-out

o Work closely with project administration to review and approve vendor or job-related invoicing.

Business Systems

o Input, modify and monitor salesforce project data

o Manage data files related to the project in OneDrive and Teams

  • Education Requirements:

o Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management Engineering preferred.
