Compensation: $46,092.80 or $22.16 an hour
Position Summary & Responsibilities
- This position will also be responsible for the new case read system, modifications and enhancements the system may require.
- This position works with PPS management to plan system implementation, training.
- This position is also responsible for identifying system related problems and working with ITS staff to review, analyze, develop and implement potential resolutions.
- This position is responsible for analyzing data to monitor performance and outcomes of the agency child welfare programs through our case read system and other child welfare reports.
- Prepares descriptive reports for presentation working closely with Data Unit to identify and provide data and reports in a manner which allows for in-depth analysis.
- Identifies trends regarding child welfare services, outcomes and performance.
- This position will facilitate meetings using Appreciative Inquiry to partner with our stakeholders and build on strengths.
- This position will work with PPS and its stakeholders to identify processes that are working well and those processes that need change to get us to the results needed to support best practice.
- This position maintains an up to date knowledge of Kansas Child Welfare policy.
- Responsible for updating the Performance Improvement sections in the federally mandated state plan.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Four years of experience in collecting, evaluating, studying or reporting on statistical, economic, fiscal/budget, legislative or administrative data. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
- Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF.
