PR Group Leader
We’re looking for a PR Group Leader who can organize teams and see the big picture while driving the day-to-day and growth. This driven, collaborative, focused leader will tap into their B2B or ag expertise to excite the client with opportunities to create buzz and share content that drives clarity while building client relationships through results, trust and shared goals.
You’ll collaborate closely with the cross-functional team (including creative, social media, strategy and others) to energize and engage key audiences in innovative ways. From national trade publications and national media relations to content strategy and development, this multifaceted team member will connect and coach teammates to take public relations and content to the next level. Here’s why we want you:
- You have 7+ of agency experience and a bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing or communications AND/OR equivalent combination of the two.
- You possess critical thinking skills, a strategic mind and the drive to deliver great results
- You thrive on media relations and have experience with trade media relations, trade shows and influencer engagement
- You are a people person who can build relationships with a team, a client and media contacts
- You’re excited to work hand-in-hand with our leaders in other disciplines and love the thrill of turning big ideas into reality
- You have an ability to see the big picture, delegate and coach, but who won’t hesitate to roll up sleeves and dig in
- You are a team player but also can work well independently ⸺ you don’t hesitate to jump in and take a proactive lead on a project, big or small
- You have experience working with agriculture or B2B clients
Our agency operates in a team setting and encourages ideas from all levels and departments. While we ideally would like someone located in or near Milwaukee, we are open to someone being remote. We function in a hybrid work model with plenty of work from home ability and the trust in you to do your job in the environment that works best for you. This role would require some travel for year-round tradeshows, video/photoshoots and client meetings, as well.
