How You Will Make an Impact

Our guests expect luxury, value, and world-class service. As a Pre-owned Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing high-quality, brand-sponsored, and remarketed vehicles. You will impact whether we become our guest’s favorite place to purchase a premier, quality vehicle.

What Winning Looks Like:

• Demonstrating a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness and optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity
• Identifying popular/profitable cars in the market
• Researching market dynamics and pricing trends
• Managing manufacturer-sponsored incentive programs
• Developing and maintaining daily/weekly/monthly reports and KPI metrics to track success
• Completing internal purchase documents and DMV forms
• Proactively track transportation, reconditioning, and other acquisition cost metrics
• Establishing appropriate retail sale pricing guidelines based on internal profit metrics and market price dynamics
• Maintaining adequate inventory levels and controls across multiple store locations and brands to maximize Preowned vehicle sales potential.
• Maintaining an in-depth understanding of market and valuation tools such as VAuto, and Provision

Skills Needed to Win:

• At least 18 years of age
• Bachelor’s degree
• Three years minimum experience as used vehicle buyer
• Demonstratable knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and balance multiple demands and time frames
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and handle stress in a calm and constructive manner
• Highly customer-focused and solutions driven
