JOB SUMMARY

The Aparavi Pre-Sales Engineer (Data Expert) is responsible for providing technical solutions to new customers by leveraging the power of the Aparavi Platform. The Pre-Sales Data Expert must be able to articulate Aparavi's value add around data management to both business and technical users. This role requires the successful employee to provide technical support and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying the customers' needs and pain points and supporting the account manager with quotes and proposals.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct virtual customer meetings, presentations, and demonstrations
• Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc.
• Work closely with the sales department to secure new partners and customers
• Work closely with Platform Engineers to transition customers over to POCs
• Conduct Platform acceptance testing to ensure new releases meet customer standards
• Reproduce field related issues and create issue tracking tickets for Aparavi developers
• Works closely with Aparavi development to track and drive issues to closure
• Documentation of Platform tests and evolve testing to meet current customer conditions
• Provide partner on-boarding and continued enablement

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years' experience in IT/Technology/Software industry

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Outstanding written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration within both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Proven success in sales and/or technical pre-sales experience preferred
• Industry-based experience with data management technologies (storage, network and/or cloud-based technologies)
• Demonstrated experience working with Windows server and Linux server operating systems
• Demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and be able to educate others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous public speaker, presenter and/or trainer experience
• Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities

Pay: $80,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
