We are seeking two preservation architects, one with 5 to 12 years of experience in historic preservation and one with 3-5 years of experience, who are committed to transforming visions, enhancing potential, and exceeding expectations in the built environment. Projects may include historic restoration, rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, condition assessments, Historic Structure Reports and new construction in historic contexts.

To join us as a preservation architect in our studio, you should have:

• A passion for design excellence and historic buildings
• Between 3-5 years of experience OR 5 to 12 years of experience in historic preservation and rehabilitation
• Knowledge of the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture with a specialization in historic preservation
• Current architectural registration or working towards licensure
• Interest in the technical aspects of historic properties and buildings, including historic materials
• U.S. citizenship or permanent U.S. residency
• Flexibility and adaptability to work at different scales and multiple projects at once
• Strong communications and organizational skills
• Collaborative personality to bring out the best in our team and a desire to learn and mentor
