Forest City Technologies, in Wellington Ohio is a leading diversified manufacturer specializing in converting specialty materials into components. We have an exciting career opportunity available for a Process Engineer

Offers suggestions and implements improvements directed at improving processes, reducing waste, and increasing efficiency and product quality. Maintains awareness of all daily plant inefficiencies, quality problems, and customer complaints.

Responsibilities:

• Trains, upgrades & develops strong Technician group on all shifts.
• Provides technical assistance to all shift-operating groups, including weekends.
• Serves as a technical consulting resource for process technicians, which may require work on a variety of off shifts.
• Works with the Engineering Department to bring the latest technology advances to the plant.
• Performs specifically assigned tasks or other duties requested by the Operations Manager or Production Manager.
• Serves as integral role in the 8-D investigation process for permanent corrective actions as they pertain to operations, technicians, and equipment.
• Benchmarks all improvements implemented in area of responsibility.
• Perform Process Technician duties as situations warrant.
• Train others in technical duties.
• Performs tasks in compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, and all applicable codes and standard practices.
• Ensures compliance with, and continuous improvement in all applicable quality and environmental objectives, goals, accountabilities, policies and responsibilities as outlined in the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) program.

Experience:

• 2 years molding operations experience.

Education/Training:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Bachelor of Engineering is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
