Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals used in a variety of industrial and consumer products. Due to their excellent growth, we are searching for a Process Engineering Manager to lead a Wilmington, DE area team of Process Engineers responsible for the development of new process technologies and best practices for multiple product processes, In this this highly visible role you will play a key part in the future successful growth for the Company. This will include.
- Provide leadership for batch Chemical Process technology engineering project and process development
- Short- and long-range batch process optimization and improvement
- Identify new pathways for process and product quality and yield improvement
- Batch Process leadership, mentoring, and supervision of process engineers
- Interface with R&D product development chemists for new processes and technology development
- Work with Capital Project Engineering for input on ne process requirements
- Work with QA/QC
- Improve current internal process technology and identify and acquire outside technology
- Work with other leadership to develop near term 1–3-year goals and longer term 5-10 vision
- Team building including hiring and mentoring and supervising new engineers
- Support Company safety and PSM initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Demonstrated batch chemical Process Management, Senior Engineer or manufacturing Management experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
