Candidates Must Have Experience with the Texas state government Projects
The Candidate will perform these tasks:
- Documents process and procedure tasks to support development of a contract lifecycle solution
- Will identify and advise on process management tasks for procurements and contracts.
- Will identify and advise on the procurement and contract tasks to align in an online system.
- Works directly with partners to identify, create, and participate in the implementation of business process improvements.
- Create process flows for Contract lifecycle, including reviewing agreements, contracts, expenses, activities, and federal and state regulations to ensure all requirements are followed and performance metrics are met.
- May conduct policy research work and data analysis in multiple areas to support business needs.
- Serves as a liaison between the division by attending meetings and participates in offering solution design support.
- May perform data analysis.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with creating process improvement flow charts for as-is and to-be solutions
Experience in analyzing and documenting business processes and making recommendations.
Knowledge of MS Visio or other related process flow software
Experience with Texas state procurement rules, procedures and processes
Experience with complex technical contracts, grants, or auditing contracts and grants
Knowledge of security policies and procedures for technical contracts, grants, or auditing contracts and grants
Experience with other Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in contributing to or writing procedures
Experience with Texas state government.
Experience utilizing Salesforce in the performance of job duties
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Participate and/or lead in coordination, planning, and scheduling of procurement and contract management tasks with CPA staff.
- Create process flows and written standards and procedures while working independently.
- Keep management informed of status on activities through accurate, timely, and appropriate reporting.
- Work independently in a diverse team environment with on-site and remote teams.
- Ability to multi-task and work with an attention to detail.
- Identify problems and propose innovative solutions.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly, accurately, and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Salary: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
