Process Metallurgist Job at Steel Dynamics, Inc.
Responsibilities:
- Support and develop safety improvements within the process
- Provide technical support for the EAF process
- Optimize raw material cost
- Statistical analysis of process and operator feedback
- Evaluate new process technologies
- Provide continuous product and process improvement support
- Develop corrective and preventative actions
- Support ISO activities
- B.S. degree or equivalent in metallurgy, material science, or a related field
- Previous Steel Mill experience
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work without supervision
