The Opportunity

  • Remote option if not located near an Ally site. Hybrid work, from Ally office in Charlotte NC, or Detroit MI.

Seeking an innovative and driven Solutions Architect to engage with business partners and tech teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data structure redesign. The ideal candidate will have experience developing process solutions with one or more of the following: BPM, Workflow, RPA, Python, Power BI, PowerApps, or similar technologies to drive efficiencies and automate processes. The Architect will be responsible for implementing process changes using the appropriate technologies and process improvement techniques. They will lead projects that engage with cross-functional teams in an agile framework to collaborate, deliver rapid results, and add value for our stakeholders.

The Work Itself

  • Perform end-to-end process analysis and mapping to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and enhanced controls.
  • Develop automation to eliminate manual processes
  • Implement process changes to improve processes
  • Engage with business partners to identify requirements, manage change, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Navigating a complex infrastructure
  • Use data to make decisions and measure results
  • Solution design and implementation

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a finance (Finance, Economics, etc) or quantitative field (Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.)
  • 3+ years experience in similar or equivalent position preferred.
  • Experience working with SQL, Python, Java or other languages
  • Development experience with UI’s, data structures, and back-end workflow.
  • An automation mindset – a drive to continuously look for ways to automate existing processes
  • Experience working in an agile framework
  • Data visualization with Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Solid change management and consulting skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing deliverables
  • Experience with process redesign and implementation
  • Understanding of API’s, low-code development tools, AWS infrastructure and Snowflake
  • Experience developing process solutions using BPA, Workflow, RPA, or similar technologies
