Staffing Inc is partnered with an excellent client in Norton Shores, MI who is actively looking to hire a qualified individual for a Process Technician position!

Process Technician Benefits:

• $20+/hr

Process Technician Responsibilities:

• Responsible for shift start-up and shift down of mold machines and equipment
• Troubleshooting molding machines and equipment
• Performs mold, insert, and material changeovers
• Tear down and maintain molds
• Set up work centers, robot EOAT, pallets, cooling fixtures and related equipment
• Monitors process and inspects parts at start up and during production run
• Record production activity and communicates to the entire support team
• Grind scrap parts

Process Technician Technicial Skills:

• Minimum or 2-3 years’ experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician.
• Highly skilled at processing machines and aux. equipment for best parts.
• Must be able to identify defects, find root causes of process problems, and make reliable/timely decisions to resolve.
• Performs full change over, including but not limited to, Mold and EOAT and basic repairs, per documented schedule.
• Identify and implement improvements in productivity and yields. Follows-up to ensure improvements are properly recorded.

Process Technician Other Skills and Requirements:

• Strong organization skills: able to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills (listening, documenting, explaining, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to remain calm and treat people with dignity and respect.
• Highly knowledgeable in and able to apply SPC methods so that processes remain in control.
• Thorough understanding of all mold components and demonstrated aptitude for tool maintenance and troubleshooting processes.
• Highly skilled as a team member; works closely with Supervisor, Quality Tech., and management staff.
• Record of solid punctuality and attendance.
• RJG Systematic training is a plus
