About This Role:

This is an exciting time to join Forrester’s team as we build and scale a procurement function at Forrester Research. The Procurement Administrator reports to the head of procurement and is part of the team that creates the foundational structure for the organization’s long-term sourcing and acquisition processes. The Procurement Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the team as we help the organization consolidate purchasing efforts and implement new policies, procedures and systems. This role is responsible for ensuring these new initiatives are supported and successfully adopted across Forrester. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail oriented, entrepreneurially spirited, and customer service focused.

Job Description:
  • Administer procurement-related technology systems and processes — vendor database, contract repository, vendor onboarding, contract renewals, procure to pay, and risk assessments.
  • Support vendor onboarding, contract/agreement documentation, invoicing, and billing; investigate and collaborate on issue resolution.
  • Gather and maintain data required for analysis, reporting, dashboarding, and KPIs/metrics.
  • Build and maintain broad-based business relationships across the organization.
  • Partner and grow successful vendor relationships on behalf of the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support operational efficiencies, build workflows between departments, educate on procurement policies and procedures, and develop process documentation.
  • Maintain vendor database and contract repository; procurement tool administrator.

Job Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, or similarly related field.
  • Two to four years’ procurement/supply chain or relevant experience.
  • Must be self-motivated and manage their own work.
  • Guides send requests and contract renewals through interdepartmental workflows, approval and signature processes.
  • Conduct queries of procurement databases; to include vendor information, savings tracker, contract database.
  • Experience with and knowledge of procurement and sourcing activities and techniques — procurement technology/software, workflows, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience with data and information collection and analysis.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and/or the ability to learn and demonstrate similar skill set.
  • Excellent communicator — both internally with colleagues and externally with vendors/partners.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and interact with all levels across a multicultural, global organization.
  • Entrepreneurial in nature, adaptable and flexible in a maturing environment, with a growth mindset and critical thinker. Self-starter and a lifelong learner.
