Procurement Planner II Job at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc.
Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. Farmington Hills, MI 48331
Although located at SEWS – Farmington Hills, Michigan Office, this is a flexible Work From Home position, which means an associate has the flexibility to work from home, but is expected to report to the local office as needed or required.
Basic Purpose:
- Support Procurement group by issuing RFQs, handling audit requirements (IAFT, JSOX, Tooling audit, etc.)
- Track prototype orders for all OEM program and following CCR through to completion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Request a quote for parts.
- Enter new prices in IPS and/or BPCS.
- Issue purchase orders and track through to delivery.
- Pull supply base financial information (D&B) on monthly basis.
- Manage fix asset database including insurance certificates and tooling tag confirmations.
- Introduction and implementation of new systems and programs.
- Manage all price entry files.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of experience in Procurement related position preferred.
