You have good knowledge of Enterprise Power products including digital multi-phase controllers, integrated power stages and point-of-load (POL) converters. Your experience includes supporting customer design-in activities, providing technical support and field failure analysis. In this customer application support role you will validate new products, maintain performance data, design and test new product evaluation/demonstration boards, and support go-to-market activities. You will be part of Infineon’s Enterprise Power (EP) business unit, contributing to the Applications Engineering (AE) team located in one of Infineon’s EP locations. We focus on the development of power management products including digital multiphase controller ICs, high performance integrated power stages, integrated Point-of-Load (POL) modules, and Power Modules for the computing, gaming, high performance server, datacenter, networking and telecommunication markets.
In your new role you will:
You will be part of Infineon’s Enterprise Power (EP) business unit, contributing to the Applications Engineering (AE) team located in one of Infineon’s EP locations. We focus on the development of power management products including digital multiphase controller ICs, high performance integrated power stages, integrated Point-of-Load (POL) modules, and Power Modules for the computing, gaming, high performance server, datacenter, networking and telecommunication markets.
In your new role you will:
- Provide customer application support for Enterprise Power products including digital multi-phase controllers, integrated power stages and point-of-load (pOL) converters, in server, storage, networking and telecom applications
- Validate new digital controller, power stage and POL products . Provide and maintain power stage performance data for customer applications
- Design and test new product evaluation and demonstration boards
- Create go-to-market evaluation boards , reference design schematics, application notes and design tools for new products
- Support customer design-in activities including schematic & layout reviews, board bring up, system-level validation and debug of technical problems
- Provide technical support on digital controller, power stage and POL related questions and field failure analysis
- Travel approximately 10% of the time to provide on-site customer support.
You are highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic. You are extremely responsive, ready to jump on the most difficult design and/or customer issues instantly. Furthermore, you are good at developing relationships with internal and external engineering community.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- BSEE (with 3+ years of working experience ), MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering , preferred in Power Electronics
- Knowledge in power conversion topologies, power devices, magnetic s and control loop designs
- Hands-on experience in designing DC/DC switching power supplies and developing power management products
- Experience in using digital controllers, power stages and point-of-loads (POL ) for Voltage Regulator designs
- Extensive lab skills in using digital oscilloscopes, function generators and network analyzers for the test and debug of switching power supplies
- Ability to connect instruments together using Python to Automate testing of designs
- Familiar with communication protocols such as ( I 2C, PMBUS, AVS bus, NPWM, SVID, SVI3 )
- Proficiency in using schematic entry, circuit simulation , and PCB layout tools
- Effectively multi-tasks, manage priorities and solve technical problems independently
- Good written and verbal communication skills, and work effectively in a team environment
