Product Designer/Sr. Product Designer Job at LEARFIELD

LEARFIELD Irvine, CA

Paciolan is the #1 primary ticketing company in college athletics, and the #2 largest primary ticketing provider in the US including performing arts, arenas, and professional sports. As a leader in ticketing, fundraising, marketing, analytics, and technology solutions, we power more than 500 live entertainment organizations, selling over 120 million tickets a year.

While we are the market leader in many areas, we will never act too big or move too slow as a company. At Paciolan, we come to work ready to innovate and succeed, and we always have fun doing it. You may not recognize our name, because we white label our consumer channels, but we create great products at scale.

It's an exciting time to be a designer at Paciolan, an industry leader in the live events space. Whether we're simplifying our e-commerce platform for consumers or saving clients time on the enterprise side, our mission is to put the fan experience at the center. We strive to create simple, efficient, and engaging experiences to keep fans coming back again and again.

We're looking for a design generalist who enjoys all parts of the design process to join our growing team. The ideal candidate would have strong visual and interaction design skills.

We have a great team in Irvine, CA if you are local and want to enjoy the energy of a collaborative office with a hybrid work week (remote and in-office each week). If not in the area, or work from home full-time is what you are looking for, this position can also be fully remote as we have a full suite of digital video and collaboration tools in place.

What you'll do

  • You'll be responsible for projects from discovery and ideation through release, working as the dedicated designer for a cross-functional team. You'll have the chance to work on both enterprise (B2B) software and/or our e-commerce platform (B2C).
  • You'll create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes while advocating for what users need — ensuring that what we build helps clients and their fans achieve their goals.
  • You'll tackle complex flows and transform them into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use solutions for both first-time users and well-seasoned experts.
  • You'll collaborate closely with other designers to help define and scale the direction of our design system and grow a practice of research, testing, and insights within the product team. As part of a small team, you'll be a critical voice in shaping where we go and how we get there.
  • You'll work with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and fellow designers to create features that make a big impact.
  • You'll help redefine our product, question why things are the way they are, and improve the UI and UX with each new feature.
  • You'll join a company where design is valued across the organization and tightly integrated within the Agile process.

What to bring

  • 3+ years of solving UI/UX problems for B2B or B2C
  • An online or PDF portfolio of at least 1-3 projects showcasing your ability to solve multifaceted problems with elegant, simple solutions
    • If you have a PDF portfolio, please upload under "Cover Letter" (cover letter not required).
  • Experience taking products all the way from ideation to release
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams and product management
  • Experience working with Figma
  • Familiarity working with technical constraints
  • Expertise using modern design tools and design systems
  • Ability to listen, adapt, and rapidly incorporate feedback

An Extra "Awesome"

  • Experience working in a complex industry where you had to master complicated subject matter
  • Experience using product analytics to improve product features and/or conducting user research
  • Expert knowledge of modern responsive web patterns and mobile applications

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00
Benefits:

    • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance
    • Disability Insurance
    • Life Insurance
    • Retirement Benefits
