The Product Engineer role at Hatch Stamping in Chelsea, MI, offers a unique challenge to be involved in programs and projects for a group of Hatch Stamping products during all phases of the gate process. As a product engineer, you will be exposed to many aspects of the business with plenty of options for personal career growth. This position will be involved in full product development, from conception to implementation.

Located in Chelsea, MI, this product engineer will work with customers, manufacturing, process, and test engineering to solve problems and help create new products. As a Product Engineer, you will use your background to help develop and design projects or programs from conception to full implementations. You will apply sound engineering principles and theory to engineering projects, while also providing technical assistance and information to other functions, customers, and partners on the application, design, materials, performance, and reliability of products.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or related field with a minimum of 2 years of product design related experience
• Experience working with customers and product management
• Experience working on small and large product development projects from cradle to grave
• Ability to learn quickly when faced with new problems
