• Provide general process engineering support for Cabot’s dispersion product line.
• Support Global Engineering project engineering managers with the transfer of liquid dispersions technology from various Cabot locations around the world to new and existing North American sites.
• Serve as the primary implementation/commissioning resource for new capital installations.
• Provide technical leadership and assistance to dispersion sites for problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Drive solutions to complex problems; develop clear problem statements, project requirements, milestone schedules, and documentation to support decision-making and facilitate implementation.
• Ensure appropriate systems are in place to initiate, modify, review, and communicate manufacturing specifications in line with internal and external customer requirements and process capability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate best practice sharing between manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with product managers and R&D to improve existing product performance, develop new products, and/or address customer product concerns.
• Collaborate with local and Global Engineering to facilitate process improvements.
• Provide on-site support as need to facilities around the world.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 7+ years chemical manufacturing and process development required.
• Strong knowledge and experience in liquid dispersion processes and technology.
• Ability to accommodate varied international travel to China, Billerica, MA Technology Center, and eventually to NA project sites and, as needed.
• Experience developing functional scopes for new process development projects.
• Experience leading new process commissioning and start-ups.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement planning processes.
• Knowledge of how to plan, develop, and manage plant trials.
