Job Duties

• Work with Business Unit Manager to formulate and prepare annual business plan including: business narrative; product market sales and profitability forecasts; market trends; competitive landscapes; core product plan including cost down initiatives; new business projects and marketing communications plan.
• Responsible for maintaining sales/profit objectives for assigned product market. Prepare pricing policies/guidelines for assigned products/market.
• Coordinate new product development projects with R&D and eventual launch, including training and promotional activities to support introduction (product literature creation, trade show participation, industry/customer presentations).
• Help prepare major quotation and bid packages with appropriate Sales Engineer.
• Provide inventory min/max criteria on key products and work towards managing inventory levels at appropriate level to support customer demand and Judd financial goals.
• Facilitate business area teams.
• Key customer travel in support of new business generation.
• Study/react marketing plan to address technology/market trends.

• Supervise inside support personnel as appropriate.

• Broad knowledge of a discipline such as Business or Engineering equivalent to a complete 4 year college degree, requiring a high degree of diplomacy and the ability to deal with and influence persons in all types of positions.
• Over 7 years up to and including 10 years of progressive learning experience. Duties require broad conceptual judgment, initiative and ability to deal with complex factors and ideas not easily evaluated and to make decisions based on conclusions for which there is little precedent.
• Track record of design, development of technical architecture solutions and the presentation to OEM/Tier-1 partners to spec-in interconnect solutions.
• Works with confidential data of major importance such as new product introductions and profit margins which, if disclosed to outside contacts, may be detrimental to the organization’s interests.
