Intake Call Notes:
o Hybrid Role - Must be able to travel 1 week per quarter for quarterly meetings or as per business needs to Plano, HQ. Expenses would not be covered by Toyota or Magnit.
o This Candidate will be involved in Vulnerability Management process.
o The car is the product over here – Will be taking care of the vulnerability which can be happen in the car
o Execute and follow the process – Need to have deep technical knowledge to be successful (Prior experience in Product Development team/ Embedded systems). Don't look for candidate coming from Medical/Pharmaceutical background
o Cybersecurity background with hardware/Software – Automotive background is plus
o This Project is for Cars/Models that are in the market
What you bring
Must Have Skills:
o Ability to detect and prioritize key items for investigation from multiple sources
o Experience with Threat analysis, Attack procedure and attack path analysis, Impact Assessment (SFOP), CVSS Assessment, Risk Assessment, Asset Assessment, CWE Mapping.
o Technical writing skills, MS Office, PPTX, Excel, Visio, Jira, automotive (huge plus)
o Communications Skills, relationship Building, Project Management, Presentation Skills
o Knowledge/experience in Cybersecurity practices
Added bonus if you have
o Working knowledge and experience with JIRA and Confluence
o Process development, Business insight, Company knowledge
o JIRA, VVM/PSIRT Process knowledge, Validation skills (hands-on a plus), experience with remediation of security vulnerabilities

Toyota is pioneering several different development efforts and implementing vulnerability management processes to increase security within Toyota’s vehicle ecosystem. Some of these efforts require a keen understanding of cybersecurity principles, experience in vulnerability management and incident response, along with hands-on validation skills.
This role is to support the identification of potential product vulnerabilities, facilitation and tracking of vulnerabilities with stakeholders ultimately leading to timely resolution with exceptional quality.
What you’ll be doing
Main Responsibilities
o Support Threat Intel gathering process for Product Cybersecurity – ID issues (CD, ID, Auto-ISAC, Daily Clip Sheet, Media, Social Media, Sprinklr, Industry Conferences, … others)
o Create Tickets for Vulnerability Management (VM) process in JIRA system for reported/identified issues – as needed
o Create and edit Triage Documents (Risk Assessment) following documented process and template.
o Manage Tickets in Vulnerability Management (VM) process to facilitate item resolution (ID to Close):
o Follow-up tracked items
o Communicate with stakeholders to promote resolution / closure of reported items
o Assess proposed security remediation actions from stakeholders
o Propose alternative security solution options
o Coordinate Validation activities
o Conduct Validation activities (hands-on) and document as needed
o Prepare communications / documents for internal and global partners regarding tracked items
Sub-Responsibilities
o Develop and document Product Cybersecurity Group (PCG) processes
o Conduct reviews of draft Process documents with stakeholder departments
o Develop training materials for internal and external stakeholders
o Coordinate Table-top exercises with internal and external stakeholders
o Prepare materials for Vehicle Cybersecurity Governance Committee
o Tracking of VM Activities for management /planning purposes
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $60.00 - $68.00 per hour
