Production Line Operator Job at Thacker Casket Manufacturing
Thacker Casket Manufacturing is the largest family owned casket manufacturing company and has been in business since 1939. At our manufacturing facility located in Florence, Alabama we proudly employ approximately 200 hard working Americans. The vision of Thacker Casket Manufacturing is "To be the best supplier to more families of an honest product at an honest price."
In order to achieve that vision we are looking for production line workers. This position is a full time position where normal work hours are from 6:000 AM to 4:00 PM Monday thru Thursday, with overtime on Fridays' available depending on market conditions. If no overtime is needed then all employee will enjoy a standard three-day weekend.
All candidates must have a reliable mode of transportation to and from Florence, AL and will be given a drug test upon their arrival. We are hiring on the spot to fill several option positions within the factory. We also offer on-the-job training if you would like to be promoted into a welding or painting department. Those skilled positions offer pay rates from $17.40 - $19.00 per hour.
All employees at Thacker Casket Manufacturing are compensated for their work with an hourly rate of pay plus a performance bonus. Our entry level postions pays $14.60 per hour with a potential performance bonus of up to an additional $0.75 per hour. The bonus is based upon key production and quality metrics.
This is an indoor position and conditions can be hot/humid depending on the outdoor weather. Tardiness will not be accepted as each team member must be present in order for the department to success as a whole. Only serious applicants need apply.
