Creative Tent International (CTI) is an established and growing Nevada company that manufactures large span deployable infrastructure for our US military customers and major defense contractors, as well as a diverse and growing commercial customer base. CTI needs a full time Production Manager who shares our values and wants to make a significant, positive impact.

The successful candidate will play a key part in the Creative Tent International growth and process improvement plan. The Production Manager is accountable for the company’s on-time delivery of products and employee turnover. Primary roles include the creation and management of the master production schedule, oversight of the production employees and tracking cost to target ratios per job. The PRODUCTION MANAGER reports directly to the VP, Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
• Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
• Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
• Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
• Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
• Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team/department
• Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
• Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff
• Building and managing a production schedule
• Adhering to an operations budget, aligning costs to budget to ensure profitability

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• The PRODUCTION MANAGER provides supervision and oversight of subordinates for the company’s entire production facility
• The PRODUCTION MANAGER provides supervision and oversight of relevant training, and assists company leaders in making critical business decisions that will ensure profitability and on-time delivery of products

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience setting up production lines
• 5+ years creating and managing production schedules, personnel
• 5+ years of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Proven facilitation, team building and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in operations/business/change management
• Team player w/a can-do attitude
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Demonstrated success as a cross-functional leader

Desired Skills:

• Military/Defense manufacturing company experience
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal/internal communication and customer service skills

· This role is physically located at CTI HQ & production facility in Henderson, NV

· Travel required- Less than 25%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
