Job Title
Production Material Handler
Responsible for the receipt and transport of items between departments and facilities.
• Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines utilizing hand-truck, forklifts etc. • Prepares and maintains records of operations as required. • Responsible for verifying counts against paper work to insure accuracy. • Examines for damage and correct labeling/packaging. • Accurately transfers part/material and any other departmental transactions necessary to maintain accurate and timely records. • Actively looks for ways to improve processes and shares with leadership as appropriate. • Assists and/or performs in any and all areas as assigned. • May work any and all shifts/days as required. Job Requirements: Education: • High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Experience: • List the minimum experience necessary for the job • List preferred experience and mark as “preferred” Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Must have basic computer, language and math skills. • Must have a valid driver’s license and may be required to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License. • Must meet all training requirements as defined by department. • Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds Position Specific Title and Responsibilities (Optional): Position Title • Required to obtain forklift certification. • Required to obtain training/certification in hazardous material handling as defined by department. • Must successfully complete the TQC and lock-out/tag-out training.
