What will I be doing when I work for Givaudan Carthage?
As a production operator in the Liquids or Powders department, you will learn how do the following to create food andbeverage flavorings and extracts of the highest quality for consumer food products:

- Mix, filter, heat, sample and chill ingredients according to specifications
- Operate various types of production equipment including mixers, blenders, spray dryers, and more
- Use computerized production workstations and RF scanner equipment
- Perform quality control checks to ensure color, aroma, and other characteristics meet customer requirements
- Use material-handling equipment like forklifts to move containers of ingredients and finished products
- Comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements, and company procedures

Who are we looking for?
To be considered for a position as a production operator on our high performing manufacturing operations team, youwill have as a minimum:
- No food allergies
- A high school diploma.
Ideal candidates will also have
- 1+ years previous production manufacturing experience
- The ability to lift 50lbs and the desire to be active as you will stand frequently move around to do your job
- Experience operating a fork-lift, ideally with a current forklift certification; or, the willingness to learn
- A background performing routine work assignments and following directions with moderate supervision
- A team player mind set with a willingness to communicate openly and easily work with others and acrossdepartments to achieve production goals and exceed customer expectations.
