Lompoc Operations of Raytheon Vision Systems is seeking a Production Specialist. Candidate will work as part of a multifunctional team in 200mm wafer processing of semiconductor materials. Must demonstrate a safety work routine, with basic understanding of the technical aspects associated with his/her assigned process. Attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions is mandatory. Mechanical aptitude and capability to work in a class 100 cleanroom are required. Routine work is performed with minimal supervision.

A self-motivated, self-disciplined individual is the ideal candidate for this position. Ability to work with individuals and teams outside the department. Tasks will involve working in a factory/lab environment. Working with chemicals as well as PECVD, PVD, Dry Etching, Plating and Plating Analysis following rigorous disciplined methodologies and instructions. Technicians will be expected to wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow all safety related processes, procedures, and protocols.

Occasional overtime and weekend support may be required to meet customer/program needs. The exact hours worked will be negotiated with the employee and management to obtain an acceptable work-life balance. This is a full-time, (minimum 40 hours per week) 2nd shift position (3pm-11pm)

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of prior experience
• Willingness to work 2nd Shift
• Ability to work in a yellow light class 100 (ISO Class 5) cleanroom environment
• Ability to work in an exacting quality environment with attention to detail
• Ability to execute detailed work instructions
• An outstanding work ethic and effective time management

Desired Skills:

• Experience with manual and semi-automated processing equipment including Dry Etching, PVD, PECVD, Wet Etching, Plating and Plating Analysis
• Wafer Handling Expertise
• Experience with Statistical Process Control
• Experience with Chemical Handling

Required Education:

• High school Diploma, GED or Bachelors degree + 2 years experience

Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.

Typically requires a High school diploma or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by

local laws/regulations.
