Filterbuy is a family owned and operated, direct to consumer HVAC filter manufacturer. Summary – The production Supervisor ensures all manufacturing goes smoothly and efficiently by closely monitoring how employees organize their workflows. A production Supervisor is integral in a fast-paced production environment.

A candidate who can comprehend complex operations is essential. However, the best candidate for a Production Supervisor should ensure the production process delivers high-quality products most profitably.

Responsibilities –

• Supervising operations within a facility to achieve higher output.
• Oversees production operations on assigned shift.
• Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Notifies the maintenance department of equipment problems.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility.
• Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals.
• Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Maintaining communication between employees and senior executives to ensure well-understood procedures and policies.
• Ensuring the flow of raw materials and other resources.

Qualifications –

• 5+ years of production or manufacturing experience, at a supervisory level.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
• Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering, or any related field.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to traverse the production facility.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
