Production Supervisor Job at Kreamer Feed
Kreamer Feed is in need of a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor. The schedule for this role would be M-F 3pm-11pm. This position is responsible for the day to day operations and leadership of the conventional and organic mills, and warehouse by performing the following duties:
1. Coordinates production practices with Operations group and communicates with Logistics, Sales and Marketing in order to consistently meet customer requirements
2. Maintains safe feed/safe food procedures and certifications and follows all current SOP’s
3. Assists in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
4. Schedules daily production and employee shifts/hours of operation in order to effectively and efficiently produce feed and manage costs
5. Adheres to all safety policies and regulations in accordance with approved safety rules
6. Help to create a training plans for new hires
7. Assist in developing a cross training plan for mill employees
8. Help to establish a succession plan for high performing employees
9. Provide daily communication on safety, plan for the day, and absences and vacations, etc.
10. Streamline the order process so the sales team can provide orders to the supervisors
11. Shows respect and value for the skills, experiences, creativity, and contributions of all members of the team and organization
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
