We are currently seeking an experienced Optical Lab Supervisor for our state-of-the-art AR Coating Facility in our Brooklyn Park Optical Processing Center.

The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM.

Pay: From $23.00/Hour

$1000 Hiring Bonus:

A $500 BONUS will be paid out to you after 6 months of employment and an additional $500 BONUS will be paid to you after 9 months of employment.

Position Specifics:

• Working knowledge of all aspects within the manufacturing area.
• Monitor and evaluate productivity through team and individual metrics.
• Assists with the management and training of employees within area of responsibility and ensures a positive work environment.
• Assure timely performance reviews and proper documentation of performance issues.
• Works with department supervisor to ensure proper execution of standard work instructions, operator preventative maintenance, and plant 5S programs.
• Actively participate and engage in continuous improvement processes such as our Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX) program.
• Assists maintenance staff to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
• Communicate with offsite vendors in trouble shooting machine errors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in an optical laboratory environment or other experience commensurate with departmental functions.
• Must be able to perform to high levels of competency all aspects of lab manufacturing.
• Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills; with ability to maintain an even workflow and a motivating work environment.
• Keyboard and PC skills required.
• Prior Supervisory experience a plus.
