We are seeking a Program Assistant to join our growing Behavioral Health team at our UChicago Medicine Ingalls. We are looking for a team player will positive energy and a focus on customer service. This is the perfect position for an individual looking to begin their career in Behavioral Health, students and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
The Program Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Outpatient Behavioral Health Programs. The Program Assistant will greet patients and visitors, verify insurances, and schedule new patients. This position includes performing clerical duties, maintaining charts and managing therapists schedules. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and is a strong team player who cares about providing great customer services to our clients and staff.
High school diploma or GED is required; Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred. Experience in a Health Care Setting with Electronic Medical Record is preferred.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday. This is a registry position. Hours are scheduled on an as needed basis based on the needs of the program. There is opportunity for this position to grow into a permanent position.
