Program Coordinator - Housing Services Job at City of Topeka
The City of Topeka is seeking a dedicated social services professional to serve as the Program Coordinator in the Housing Services division. This is a fast-paced, intensive position that will work closely with community partners to secure housing and other resources for individuals with severe mental illness as they transition to independent living.
The ideal candidate has:
- Experience providing services to individuals with mental health diagnoses
- The ability to be flexible
- Excellent communication skills
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and entry level knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Must be insurable within the standards set by the City of Topeka insurance carrier and must possess and maintain a valid Kansas driver's license. Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses is strongly preferred.
