Support the enhancement of organization-level outcomes by making recommendations and supporting the implementation of program reporting and evaluation data systems, as well as program quality improvement. Analyze and interpret program reporting, public health, clinical, socio-economic, and demographic data This to create written reports and presentations for internal and external use. Provide significant support to grants management staff and supports quality improvement activities by serving as a liaison to programmatic staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Identify, develop, support implementation, and troubleshoot new program data collection and evaluation systems for the Partnership’s programs.
- Maintain current program evaluation data systems, write and run queries, and perform data manipulation and analysis as needed to support planning, quality improvement, grants, and other organizational needs.
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure data is available in order to complete funder reports in a timely manner.
- Combine data from all Partnership programs to document organization-wide accomplishments, measure progress towards goals, and support program quality improvement activities.
- Provide on-going support and training to programmatic staff on data collection and best practices.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret clinical and population data; independently identify trends, draw conclusions, and make connections and comparisons to Partnership program data.
- Support grant writing and grants management functions by producing written summaries documenting the Partnership’s program outcomes and experiences on timelines as needed for proposal development.
- Assist with planning, designing, and implementing new programs to address changing community needs.
- Conduct evaluations of existing programs to assess their efficacy in meeting goals and analyze data to identify trends or patterns that can be used to improve future programs.
- Contribute to annual Regional Data Report, including identifying trends and areas of interest by comparison to statewide or other benchmarks, and analyzing and presenting data with recommendations for action.
- Contribute to written needs assessments for Partnership grant applications and other documents, gathering data from a variety of sources including but not limited to member hospital birth certificate data, NJ Department of Health, US Department of Health and Human Services, and US Census Bureau.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Public Health or related field required; MPH or equivalent degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in program outcomes measurement, data collection including software solutions, data analysis, and development of recommendations from that data in a professional setting.
- Strong familiarity with qualitative and quantitative program evaluation methods as implemented in community settings.
- High level of comfort with technology-based program data collection and evaluation solutions
- Exceptionally strong data interpretation skills, including ability to interpret and present graphical data
- Strong public speaking/presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to patiently train and support technology users of varying skill levels with a customer service orientation
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and independently manage multiple ongoing projects while remaining responsive to internal and external stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
