Program Guide Job at Grand View Lodge
The primary goal of this position is to facilitate safe, meaningful, and fun outdoor experiences for guests. The Program Guide should be competent in leading hikes ranging in difficulty and distance, guiding and instructing bike rides, facilitating fishing expeditions, as well as archery.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Must be passionate about the outdoors and leading groups on recreational outing activities.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, guest service skills, group management skills, as well as critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Ability to be flexible in regard to scheduling and daily duties.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Other responsibilities might include assisting in any operational responsibilities of the programs including but not limited to registration, equipment, outdoor teaching areas, cleanliness of facilities, surface lifts, and all other facets of the programs as they exist.
