Program Information Specialist Job at Block Institute
Summary: Provide support, oversight and training on web based THERAP and Paycom systems across the agency. Update system information, liaise with vendor on open tickets, provide reports to agency programs, and support departments. Provides administrative and clerical support to Adult Services Departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Provide support and training to all staff on THERAP and Paycom systems.
- Responsible for managing open tickets and completion of work needs to resolution.
- Participate in the Block Institute THERAP and Paycom Implementation Team.
- Configure THERAP/Paycom and build programs to meet organizational requirements.
- Responsible for the Help Desk and requests for technical support.
- Develop reports as assigned. Examples include but are not limited to, reporting on expiring plans, unit reports, etc.
- Perform additional job related duties as requested by Directors.
- Train and orient new users to the system.
- Manage employee and individual-related changes consistent with policy for onboarding individuals and managing changes.
- Monitor essential elements for billing in the THERAP system.
- Daily review of dashboard exception reports and follow-up as appropriate.
- Work with other departments including Human Resources and Finance to ensure collaboration of systems.
- Maintain Paycom and THERAP systems computer interface.
- Requires regular travel to Block Institute program/residence locations.
- Manage Paycom Learning and provide running report and support to all programs.
- Provide oversight of the Performance Action Forms (PAF) and work alongside Agency Payroll Administrator.

Qualifications
- HS DIploma/GED. Bachelors Degree preferred
- Moderate Level of computer and hardware software skills
- Basic Understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration
- Basic knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages including but not limited to: C++, PHP, HTML, .NET, and Java
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Some prior experience working in Program that support Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
- Must Pass BIT Competency Test
