Key Responsibilities

• 
  Develops and maintains software systems solutions to support key business processes.
• Optimizes performance for multiple SQL server databases, including but not limited to issue resolution, backups, upgrades, database structure, and system security.
• Develops and configures ERP business processes and workflow procedures related to standard and custom solution development.
• Use programming languages, software development methods, programming techniques and department standards guides to code new software programs and to modify existing software programs to meet user requirements, to function efficiently and effectively and to comply with departmental standards
• Writes, analyzes, reviews, and documents program logic to support a broad array of the organization’s application. Writes end user documentation describing installation and operating procedures.
• Consult with end users to gather information about needs, objectives, functions, performance expectations and input and output requirements
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills with technical subjects and tasks.
• Maintains knowledge and keeps up to date on new and upcoming technologies and development best practices.
• Performs research and implements all technical solutions for all systems and ensures compliance to all company objectives and provides regular status reports to management and performs various tests on systems to ensure smooth workflow.
• Evaluates all system practices and recommends improvements and modifications to all systems to reduce cost and upgrades systems.

Qualifications

• 
  Demonstrate proficient in .NET application design and development using most of the following. NET 5, .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, Dapper, Entity Framework, IIS, SQL Server, log4net, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git and Git Bash (or similar Command Line Interface).
• Working knowledge of SQL Server database, including but not limited to:

o Back up, optimization, and recovery strategies
o Monitoring SQL server logs and server agent
o Administer server/user permissions
o Performance tuning at server and database level
o Ability to query databases
o Establish database replication
o Disaster prevention and recovery

• Fluency in application design, development, and project implementation
• Experience with manufacturing environment and ERP systems – Epicor/SAP, including but not limited to:

o Developing custom solutions; for example, updateable BAQ’s and dashboards, reports, and embedded customizations
o Troubleshooting system, server, and user issues
o Database and server performance tuning

• Experience with any of the follow is a plus: Azure, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell, MySQL, and VB.NET

Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Computer Science, Computer Programming, MIS or other related field from four-year college or university, or two or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
